While we are headquartered in Longmont, Colorado, we have been able to successfully service customers from coast-to-coast further. The founders of Imulus share a common goal of building a company that is unmatched in customer service and quality. After much searching, brainstorming, and debating we arrived at the name Imulus. The name is derived from the word Stimulus, meaning to evoke a response. All businesses are trying to evoke a positive response from their customers and potential customers through their communications, services and solutions. We believe that in a world that increasingly bombards us with information and messages, it is imperative that we help our clients to stimulate and innovate. To do otherwise, is to get lost in the crowd.
George Morris, Client Services Manager
George's single focus and commitment is to provide the best possible service to our clients. Through careful planning and unmatched attention to detail, George works to make sure that your project is on time and on budget. Before founding Imulus, George was a project manager for a national Web Development Agency where he worked alongside Scott and John. While there, George managed projects for Fortune 500 clientele. In the past, George also owned his own web design business, which gives him great insight into what is involved in all aspects of a project.
George holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Shippensburg University. He is a member of Toastmasters International, rock climber, photographer, and the proud parent of the company dog, Lenny.
Scott Hooten, Creative Director
As Creative Director, Scott provides the creative vision behind the design solutions that Imulus provides. Scott is passionate about the power of design and the creative process. Before founding Imulus, Scott served as Regional Art Director a national Web Development Agency. During his tenure, Scott produced design solutions for a variety of Fortune 500 clientele; ranging from Financial Services to Entertainment.
A professional designer for 11 years, Scott has owned his own business, Hooten Design, and served with several other agencies including Takigawa Design and Knubis Communications. Over the years, Scott has produced design solutions for clients such as; Earthbound Farm, Hampton-Brown Company, Scott Campbell Photography, Granite Construction, Highlands Inn, Coefficient, and Earlychildhood.com.
Scott holds a Masters in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a B.S. in Applied Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University. He is also a member of the AIGA and Toastmasters International. When he's not solving design problems, Scott enjoys running, tennis, and trying to keep up with his two kids.
John Skufca, Technology Director
John provides the programming and development expertise that make Imulus' internet solutions come to life. John is committed to delivering solutions that are usable, scalable and integrated with existing technologies. Prior to founding Imulus, John served as a Senior Developer for a national Web Development Agency.
John has 8 years of internet development and programming experience in a variety of technologies including HTML, Javascript, DHTML, VBScript, ASP, SQL, Perl, JSP, and Java. John began his career with a start up company, evesta.com, where he served as a Web Developer specializing in Javascript and JSP.
John studied Computer Science at the University of Northern Colorado. He is also the co-founder of a small company that develops games for the PC and Nintendo Gameboy Advance.
